In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 Squad RPG applications in Africa exhibited dynamic trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of each app based on data from Sensor Tower.

RAID: Shadow Legends from Plarium Global Ltd showed a diverse range of metrics throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue saw a peak of approximately $23.9K at the end of December, and although it dipped to around $8K by mid-January, it recovered to close the quarter at about $12.7K. Weekly downloads ranged from a high of 9.1K in early January to around 5.6K at the end of February, with a slight increase towards the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 21.9K and ending at 20.8K.

Hero Wars: Alliance RPG by Nexters Global LTD experienced significant shifts, particularly in weekly downloads, which spiked to an impressive 125K in early March. Weekly revenue peaked at about $5K at the end of December, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at approximately $2.6K.
